Winners at Conwy Sports Awards 2023:
- Peter Hamer our Rowing Captain was awarded the 2023 Service to Sport Award for being instrumental in the development and success of our Club’s rowing section
- Richard and Petra Haig, who sail and row with the Club, were awarded the 2023 Special Achievement Award for completing their round the world voyage
Sue Blunt, a rower, has just completed one of the most challenging legs of the Round the World Clipper Race 2023-24, racing from Cape Town S. Africa to Sydney Australia.
The son of one of our rowers, having been awarded Young Sportsman of the Year 2022, again made it to this year’s finals and is a member of the Welsh and British Laser Junior Squad.
